2020 Tuesday — Reading

This is the book that I am currently reading. I found it awhile back at the Friends of the Library Store in Cayucos. I am definitely a fan of nonfiction, so when I saw it I didn’t even resist the urge to purchase it, and the fee of one dollar made it a deluxe bargain.

For awhile it sat on my stack of “future reading” books. A few weeks ago when we were at our Cayucos house I started the journey through its pages.

This is Day 40 of “sheltering” for us. The golf courses in our area opened today. We are not golfers, so it was of no excitement to us but was noted because we’re curious to see how California is going to re-open after this serious shut-down. So we’ll be watching our governor’s press conferences with great interest. We’ll also be stepping back into the public very very slowly and carefully and definitely wearing face masks.

My biggest accomplishment of the last two days is eliminating some of the stockpile of paperwork that I have accumulated during the past 30 years of teaching. Slowly I am decluttering, but very very slowly. Some days I am motivated and some days I am not.
