Another day over, another day’s work done and what a sobering one in many ways.

We were asked by the department to provide a proposal for us to manage and take care of homeless people, both able bodied and people with disabilities. Disability may be our area of expertise but managing such a facility is certainly not.

It just highlights the desperation. So many vulnerable people, so little care. On top of it all reports come out that food parcels for the poor are being ‘stolen’ by distribution officials aligned to the governing party.

Going to hell in a handcart seems to be the way of things.

I just hope the very questionable Covid numbers that we are currently being fed are reasonably accurate but it seems unlikely given how little honesty there is around here.
