Wake Up on Brilliant Days
Today was a good day.
We got up, got working, achieved stuff.
Half way through the morning, we took the sheets of the bed and threw them in the washing machine.
I worked through lunch with the aid of a strawberry tart.
Tooli walked over to grans and left her a bit of her banana bread which she made.
VAT returns done. Furlough Portal open. Reconciliation Check.
There was a moment, when in my joy I screamed "Reconciled, High Five" and I sat for three minutes and in the air, unanswered. I had to slap Si on the head to get my corresponding High Five back. Disappointing.
I chatted to the Boss for a while at the of day and pretended to tidy my desk and I like to think I cheered him up. (probably not)
Then we all sat together and had dinner - and smiled because we realised that none of us had checked in on Corona Virus statistics today Yay!
After dinner Si and I headed to the Allotment to check that everything was locked up and safe. We had a wander round, checked the water tanks and the generator key.
This tree is on Isle of Pins Road, what was originally the back road into Fullarton Estate, but then became the front door to the estate. This tree has been hanging on there for ever. One of it's neighbours has started to tilt.... I'm holding this holds in there.
