Birthday

My little boy is 17 today. Nancy has been to the garage and has new brakes, we have L plates and he is insured. Now we just need lockdown to lift!!

Another birthday pavlova, which apparently was a hit, and the obligatory present opening in bed - although between online lectures rather than first thing. Bless his little cotton socks!

In other news, I braved HMRCs Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme for 2 businesses I run payroll for and was pleasantly surprised to find it working and relatively straightforward. Unfortunately it wasn’t as smooth for another of our clients but payroll generally is delegated to Mike so I just made supportive noises over the phone to him...
