Pond life...

A lovely day for playing in the water.  The Blanket Weed and Pond Weed are trying to take over the pond so we made a start on clearing it.  This involved me throwing a 30" garden grass rake (eat your hear out Fatima) on a rope into the weed and MrsDB dragging it out.  Surprisingly it worked very well.  Ideally I'd have bought some waders for the job but the only local supplier was quoting 4 weeks deliver.  I longed to get a shot of my beloved doing a belly flop into the murky water but she's as sure footed as a Mountain Goat.  Bless her.
