River Lowther

A bit of faffing in the garden, made a carrot cake but only had one carrot so used nettles and ground elder instead (I had a momentarily disturbing image of sprouting ground elder in my sleep). Then braved the shops and went for a late afternoon cycle through Lowther and back. Spent ages watching this heron and a Dipper busily going back and forth and gathered some wild garlic for my risotto.
