First Lambs of 2020

A wonderful sunny day.  A warm day in the sun, but a cool gentle breeze, especially when the odd cloud passed over.  Clear skies tonight, and cold.

Up early, and a morning at the my desk.  I took the afternoon off, and making up the hours tonight.  I nipped to the supermarket to do shopping for Madeline, and also grabbed some errands for mam too.  It's amazing how quickly fresh produce is needed. I miss the simple days of nipping to the shop, without even thinking about it.  Fire on, feet up and might try a glass of wine tonight.  I sure miss having a pint in the pub with friends on a Friday night.

When I was down at mam's, I had a walk with Sammy.  We headed around Helliness, and even spotted two huge otters, that were too quick for my camera.  As I headed on the home straight, I spotted some lambs in a field.  Shetland lambs usually start arriving at the end of April, early May, so I was happy and surprised to see them.  Such cheery peerie things, and were having a lazy day in the sun.  Taken at Anness, Cunningsburgh.
