NHS
For the last couple of Thursdays, people have stood on their doorsteps at eight o'clock in the evening and clapped for the NHS.
I've not been on Twitter since lockdown - which has *literally* been one of the best decisions I've ever made - but someone screen-grabbed a Tweet and put in on Instagram. It said something along the lines of "I work in the NHS. Thank you for clapping but please just stop voting Tory". There was a time I would have 'liked' that, probably even retweeted it.
But, as with Twitter in general, it over-simplifies a complex point.
And, anyway, whilst I do believe this is about people supporting and being grateful for the NHS, I think it's also (hugely) about community.
All that said, I enjoyed seeing these painted stones on my walk out with Dan, this afternoon.
