Gates

A few days ago I was writing on here about Underley hall and I mentioned the two pillars that frame what I reckon was once the entrance leading down onto the estate. 

Dan and I walked past there today on our route that goes out through Kearstwick and up Hophouse Lane. So, for completeness, here are said pillars.

There's a little dog that lives here - presumably with some humans - and it seems to spend most of its time in the garden. It comes and yaps at us through the fence as we go past.
