Spring sunshine

A warm sunny day and a walk around the garden this morning with the extra showing cherry blossom on a tree that arrived as a small shrub many years ago, Johns brother brought it back from Salen Show, taking the pot when given out free.

A lonesome fritillary, not seen in this area for a few years and a peacock butterfly sunning itself. John did a lap of the garden on the mower but gave up, there are too many wood anemone and winter aconite covering our lumpy garden area and the cuckoo flower is about to burst forth.
