The Meaning Of Cycle Lanes

On my walk this afternoon I had to use the cycle lane to avoid the (adult) cyclist on the pavement.  And maybe that is the reason they are there, they were never conceived for cyclists to use but for pedestrians to avoid the (minority) braindead on bikes.  I can't help thinking there's a flaw in my idea.

The weather, as you can see, has bounced back to sunny.  It was nice to look out the window and see people pottering in their gardens as I spent the whole of the morning in telephone conferences.  8:30 until 12:00.

It was tiring.

End result - my to-do list got longer again.
