Peeking

Peeking through the dense fabric of the hedge to the glistening stream beyond.  On the water there are usually geese and ducks, and in the grass field beyond the far bank, sheep graze with their lambs in the relative safety of the village.

Today has been cold but bright and sunny.  The wind has dropped so being outside was a more pleasant experience than yesterday.  I've worked (from home) today and walked Merlin before dinner.
