Imprisonment - Day twenty two

On my cycle ride today I saw Double Dog and Shorts Man who I've not seen since last October. Normally on my ride I see the same people walking cycling etc. but since returning from South Africa and my imprisonment I have not seen any of my regulars. They must all be going later as they have the time. If I see them regularly I give them names. Double Dog as she walks two identical dogs and Shorts Man who obviously wears shorts infact I've never seen him wear anything else even on the coldest of mornings. Perhaps I should have called him the Postman. 


This morning I also saw Paper Chick's Chick. Now paper Chick is a lady who delivers papers by car. How this is profitable I don't know but this morning I presume it was her daughter doing the round. 


The Bentley is proceeding well but taking a little longer than expected but I am being very thorough and filling any little stone chip etc. etc. Tomorrow I will continue rubbing down. My old Cousin Gary who lives in Thailand gave me this advice "TO CHECK THE EVENNESS DON'T LOOK AT IT .USE THE BLIND MANS MEATHOD , JUST FEEL FOR DEFECTS' please excuse his capital letters and spelling mistake I'm afraid he's a bit dyslexic. I reckon that I've got about twenty percent left to do. I will then thoroughly clean it ready for its undercoat of etching primer on Tuesday. I'm beginning to understand why professional bodyshops charge so much for a respray. 


So how has the third week of imprisonment been? Fine again I'm afraid to say. Apart from mowing the lawns on Monday I've worked full time on the Bentley. Actually Easter Sunday reminded me that I have missed going to Church which we do every Sunday when we are at home. The Easter Service like Christmas is a Happy affair. 


I don't write lists but I've got a stack of jobs to do so imprisonment can go onto until the end of the year and I can keep myself busy.
