Yep cycling my route the right way is much better as can day dream without worrying about which way to go.
The  work on the Bentley is slow going but is progressing well. I found more cracks and blemishes to fill and rub down but after my tea break in the afternoon I was able to start rubbing the whole car down with 240 grade wet and dry which made a nice change from the rough grade 80. Which after the first day I had to wear gloves as my fingers were starting to wear away. I managed to rub down the nearside of the bonnet and the top part of the wing. With a bit of luck the overall rubbing down should be done tomorrow. So weather permitting I should be able to get it undercoated on Monday. I'm going to use an etching primer to start with which will bond to the areas of aluminium which have been exposed. The bonnet and sides of the car are aluminium whereas the mudguards and wings are steel.
I was pleased to see our 'one' tulip in flower. Some years ago I planted four hundred bulbs and this fella is the only survivor. At the same time I planted about 200 kilos of daffodils and these hardy flowers keep springing up year after year.
Just before tea time we had a visit from Mr Stag a beautiful deer who has grown a large set of antlers apparently their antlers get larger with age. Which seems to be true as this fine chaps antlers were not as grand last year.
