Snow Storm over the Pentlands

Yesterday's promise of Spring is followed by a a winter snow scene. Ice and snow mean I am getting the bus and tram to work.

It snows on and off during the morning, but it stays mainly clear at lunchtime, but snow showers hit the Pentlands. By the end of my walk , the sun has come out as shown in Extra.

Still some snow showers in the afternoon, and there is quit a bit when I leave the office. The tram back in to Edinburgh is ok, and the bus home turns up. However at Bruntsfield, the traffic has come to a halt. I get off and walk home from there through the melting snow, but it's quicker than all the motorised transport. Good job my boots are waterproof. Eventually get home to a dark house.

Everyone else in the household turns up over the next hour or so. All the buses were terminating in Morningside because of the traffic issues, and everyone had to walk home from there.
