Family Facetime
Gales have been blowing, and cold coming from the north. A couple of showers this morning, with a drier afternoon and some sunny spells. Thankfully we didn't expect a hot weekend here, this cool spell helps keep people indoors, and hopefully stop spreading this awful virus. Still only 43 cases in Shetland.
Up early, but a lazy morning around the house. The day really didn't get any busier, a few house chores, set my seed tattie in the garden, and then daily exercise with Sammy. Fire in and telly tonight.
I'm really missing family, but so glad they are all home and safe. If this had been 10, 20 or 30 plus years ago, there wouldn't have been the luxury of seeing family at all. This evening I got a family Facetime call, with mam, sister Julie, Ingram, Lottie and Anna. It was great catching up, especially seeing the lasses. By the time I can get up to Unst to see them, they'll be grown quite a bit. Along with a catchup, there was also time for some silly filters too. Taken at home, Houl Road, Scalloway.
