Centurion.

In a recent blip I mentioned that I wanted to practice photographing still life subjects but my lighting equipment was not up to modern standards.

Whilst we were on holiday this week a new flash gun and wireless transmitter were delivered and I opened the packages today.

This is my first effort and, as before, I have a lot to learn. The subject is a model of a Roman Soldier which I assume is a Centurion. V bought it for one of my land mark birthdays which we were celebrating with a short break in Bath where I revelled in all the Roman antiquities.
