Saturday: "Stella" Cherry

Very cloudy morning, but it soon cleared and another warm sunny day.
Lovely chat with my daughter and Cousin Idris as they went for their daily walk.
FaceTime with our little granddaughter, her Mam & Dad & her 1 week old baby sister, everyone was very well-behaved :-)))) xxxx
Lots of family history today in between little sessions in the garden, so many bees. Had a close encounter with a very large hover fly, she was hovering close by so I put my hand out and she landed on my palm and stayed for a short while :-)
The peace and quiet is so lovely, makes up for being confined.
2 years ago on 28th April I blipped the cherry tree https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2436943655118832303 and wrote that it was 2 weeks earlier than usual, it's 17 days earlier this year, which is a month earlier than 4 years ago https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2177534633095203599 ... 
Gave the pots and vegetable patch a thorough soaking, alternate days is about right for watering at the moment.
Now more family history ...
Edibles from the garden: salad leaves for lunch, kale in the curries this evening & mint tea!
