Bread and Scones

Not a nice day outside so baking on the cards. Tried for the first time two Milk loaves direct from Paul Hollywood's book. A lot of preperation time but in the end came out perfect with a nice soft crust and texture with a slightly sweet taste. I think the last time I had this was when my children were young so my dearest and I are looking forward to taste time.

Just a normal batch of scones this time and there were a lot more but the afternoon cuppa and some nice strawberry jam unfortunately made a bit of a dent in the quantity.

I find baking bread very stress releaving now that I know you can knead and bash the living daylights out of the dough without doing it any harm.
