Remnants
And now I sit for days and days,
Each one of these my melting phase,
My colours change from white to black,
With bits thrown up from tyre track.
And some put here as snow plough passed,
How long to go, how long to last,
But skies turn blue and sun doth glow,
I fear for me not long to go.
I melt away and I grow small,
One day I be not here at all,
But when I'm gone and roads are black,
Just remember I'll be back.
I will never be a poet and probably never better than a mediocre photographer but boy do I enjoy it.
