Snakes-head Fritillary

Always had a soft spot for these guys ever since I became aware of the work of Charles Rennie Mackintosh.   These are by the stairs so I can stop and admire them at eye level.
Pond maintenance done - it was a significant chore.  Now for the less significant chores.....
