A bit of brightness

A dull day with no sun

Busy day as I am finding that more people are wanting to receive the Daily Encouragement email I am sending out (if anyone wants to receive it, just drop me an email - my address is on my Profile).

Also made a few phone calls to keep in touch with a few folk.

I think, for the first time, I didn’t go out for a walk. I have covered a lot of miles in the past weeks and my legs were saying, ‘give me a rest’.

I love this small vase of bright flowers - they are actually flowers whose stems have been broken in the wind. It reminds me that we might have been broken by experiences in the past, but we can still be people of inner beauty, with some tender care and love.

I didn’t have any Listening appointments today - as I feared people are not going into the surgery to see the Doctor, and so there is no opportunity to refer them. Just at a time when I feel that many more people will need ‘time to talk’, there are fewer opportunities for them to do so - at least through the Listening Service, and probably other services as well.
