Different
These houses always look to me more suited to a seaside location and are certainly very different from others in the road. They mark the end of my run route and today, when it was quite warm, were a welcome sight! I resembled a beetroot for a while afterwards!
The postman delivered a very special letter this afternoon... a Happy Easter painting from Esmée. And this evening we received such a funny video of her tapping her cup against J & A’s saying what definitely sounded like “cheers!” All initiated by her!
I returned to my sewing after lunch and have left it ready for more tomorrow. D has been in the garden all day, clearing a large collection of flower pots and seed trays. Or rather relocating them. You never know when they might be needed.....
Always remembering our family and friends in our evening prayer time, also our world, and giving thanks for those carrying us through this time of crisis. We read Jesus’ prayer from John chapter 12 this evening. Jesus tell his disciples that his soul is troubled. He is feeling pain and anxiety. He doesn’t know what to say to God his father. Shall he ask for his pain and coming suffering to be taken away? He chooses to say no. This suffering is why he came into the world. He understands. He’s been there. He gives us the opportunity to go through his darkness with him. He will go through ours with us into a new light.
