Magnolia stellata

My magnolia is in full flower now. It has been there quite a while, as like many of our trees it marks the final resting place of a much loved pet. It celebrates Pickles, Andrew’s cat and must have been planted around twenty years ago.
We had a beautiful day here, really hot and bright. We think the sky is clearer and bluer at the moment, with the lack of exhaust fumes and aeroplanes?
We finished by watering the onions and planting broad beans, so our little vegetable patch is taking shape!
