Sticks and Stones

Serious housebuilding/wrecking:  
We've had a collection(?) of Jackdaws in the garden today, digging up the drive and wrestling with bundles of sticks* taking off was a joy to watch!

We took advantage of another glorious day and the offer of borrowing next door neighbour's power washer.  Mr H has done a great job with it cleaning the very dirty decking and slabs, tomorrow we'll anoint it with some decking protector and do yet more gardening.  

Wonderful to be spending time in the garden*

* Jackdaw with sticks, one of the Acers and our wonderful Clematis Montana ready to burst.
