Cool cool water

I left home at 11.30 this morning and it was 32C in my driveway. By the time I got to Nelson it had dropped - to 25. Still too hot for me!

I decided that the best thing to do to cool off would be to go for a bush walk - shade glorious shade. This waterfall was along the way. If' I'd had a change of clothes I'd have jumped in. Unfortunately I didn't have a tripod with me and there was nothing to rest the camera on so this is the best I could do hand-held.

The wier that the water is fallying over was built in 1868 as part of the old Nelson water supply.
