A Walk in The Park.
It was a good day today, a blip of Merlin with Mrs TD at the Gunpowder Mills (and she has no objections to becoming an overnight sensation in BlipWorld (I can think big if I want to, it doesn't hurt anybody).
We then had a series of missions relating to her work on "The Great Scottish Tapestry" though the team are not too impressed with the way things are going just now. It may work out alright in the end but, then again ....
The first of these missions introduced herself to a fantastic all singing all dancing lamp for needlepoint and patchwork which, within a very short space of time, had set me back quite a few bob at The Fort. I had the temerity to suggest that I could buy a new camera for that money and nothing was said; there have now been several occasions on which nothing was said so perhaps it is now safe to place an order.
We then went for a coffee and a cake at the adjacent Chocolate Emporium where Mrs TD protested that I was embarrassing her by photographing the clientele, no one else noticed so I finished what I was doing when she went to the little girls' room. I also managed to fit in an interesting visit to the Photographic Emporium (that's the one that is still trading) to look at their cameras, so I think I'll break off now and have a little chat with Mr Amazon .
