Who went there?

Walking up a valley that hardly gets any sun at this time of year, -10 degrees over lunchtime, was a chilly experiene. Suddenly the sunlight was very bright, briefly, on the other side of the stream. What a relief after walking up in the shade. It was a beautiful walk with the small trees near the unstable stream bed, struggling to release themselves from their snowy overcoats and I was so glad to be up in the mountains again.
