Shadow Play
A lovely warm day, but windy. Our kitchen is a single story 'lean-to' at the back of the house with a shallow sloping roof, on which a large amount of moss grows. The blackbirds have been making a real mess picking up the moss looking for bugs and throwing it on the patio, so today I thought I would clear it off. Not a good day to do it. As I loosened the moss, the wind blew most of it into next door's garden, and when I briefly stepped into the kitchen, the stepladder blew over, narrowly missing the greenhouse. A job for another day, I decided.
By this evening the sun was on the front of the house and I rather liked the shadow it created from this African lady.
