Nathaniel Rafael, aka, Nate Rafa

3 years of Nate, plus the months carrying him! He is a joy (most of the time) - he gives a lot of joy and he finds it easily. He was delighted by breakfast in his bed (not that he'd slept the night there!!), the string of lights and his cup. We played games, watched movies, played with cars, ate cake,  enjoyed 2 live-streamed church services...and creme de la creme, Cachirulo the clown came to our window to wish Nate happy birthday (see extra!)! Since lockdown the 2 clowns on the island have been touring the towns and lifting the spirits of the kids - today just happened to be Ibiza Town! Cachirulo also happens to be a friend. His float wasn't scheduled to come down our street, so he stopped in the port and ran down to our window - so so special, and so kind of him! A really lovely extra touch.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Nate - everything about him is a gift...his very being. 
2) Asha's enthusiasm to make Nate's day special.
3) Cachirulo's kindness.
