Creativity in lockdown

Today I spent a lot of time being creative ......I finished this sample of appliqué and hand quilting I’ve been doing to try and improve my hand sewing skills and put together the start of a quilt for a friends baby which is due in 2 weeks time. For anyone wanting to try the bird applique you can buy and download the pattern on Jo Averys blog.  I’ve put that in the extra. 
This evening when we went to check on mum and take some food to her she and I raised a glass for a quilting friend’s 60th wedding anniversary ....everyone was doing it and sending a photo to her. 
I’m amazed how tired I am at night in spite of not really being as active as I usually would. Anyone else feeling the same?
