Mallard

Today I traded in my Fujifinepix camera and my 80-200 Tamron lens in a part exchange for a 16-300 Tamron with macro function. Not the top end of the range [ no way I could afford that] but a decent step on the way to a larger general use lens I think after doing quite a lot of research. The weather has not been good for photography however I grabbed an opportunity to walk round to the library and spotted this lovely lady mallard near the stream. I think she may have been trying to escape the attentions of the 2 males still in the stream :) I'm quite pleased with the result and looking forward to using the lens in more clement weather and once the bugs get out and about.
