Frolic & Play

This Eastern Gray Squirrel could have been me today. The sun was bright and welcoming after several dreary rainy days. As the squirrels were bounding through greening grass and digging in wet mulch looking for caches of acorns and peanuts, I walked about the yard feeling pretty frisky too. I uncovered a garden box to let it dry out a bit more before planting lettuce seeds. I pulled up a few plow stakes from the driveway, but not all, just in case (superstitious). I also discovered two bulbs popping up through the soil, joining our daffodils which should blossom soon. It was great being outside again, in the fresh air, absorbing Vitamin D, and being virus free for a bit. Happy Saturday, All!
