Privy Garden screen by Tijou

Day 17 - cycled past Hampton Court Palace on the towpath. This is one of the gates/ screens on the south side of the Privy Garden. The screens were made by Frenchman Jean Tijou in about 1700.
The gardens inside are looking lovely with lots of daffodils and tulips...but no visitors to see them.
No new blue plaques today!

Tasks
- posted parcels with Easter gifts to family
- planted lots of seeds, tomato,herbs, cosmos, black eyed Susans and sunflowers
- took some things to daughters house and saw her plus grandchildren briefly through the french window.
