Welcome to Tatland

Edinburgh's Royal Mile. Hardly a week goes by without some story in the local paper about attempts to restrict the number of 'Tartan Tat' shops that line the Royal Mile.
Without passing judgement (too much) on their wares, there does seem to be a *lot* of similar shops, all selling more or less the same thing.

On a side note, I love this new lens. It was practically dark when I took this, and none of my other lenses would have coped without the flash. This thing just sucks light in - it's the lens equivalent of a black hole.
