Crunch

Our walk this afternoon was down what's known as the Shore Loney. This rough lane takes you straight to the shore of the Lough just outside Killyleagh. The shore is mostly pebbles and stones that can be difficult to walk on, but it was nice to walk somewhere different. We reckon that the tide hasn't been very high recently because this seaweed was very dry, it crunched and crackled as we walked over it. It was a lovely sound, and together with the smell of the sea, we had a definitely sensory walk today. The sensory element included getting wet - the rain started as we turned to walk back home again!
