Money's worth!

In these times I like to get my money's worth. This is a picture of the Tulips  (blipped a few times over the past days!) on the way to the compost bin. They were very delicate, and dropping petals all over the place.

Had a virtual  'Zoom' coffee morning with some of the camera club members this morning, getting used to this way of communication! Tonight our family are having a quiz night, via Zoom, Marian a dear friend of the family is going to be joining us.

Having bought a whole load of fresh produce the other evening in Tesco and then a big box of  yet more produce arrived from our local greengrocers today (ordered a week ago and we'd got no idea when it would arrive)  I set about making soups and roasted vegetable/tomato base sauce for the freezer. Always handy to have. Think I'll have to freeze some of the fruit for smoothies.

I've added an extra of Ali waiting patiently for her tea ..... Just to get away from Tulips!
