Farm Pond

It took a while to reach an agreement to acquire the Farm Pond and a parcel of derelict land adjoining our house. We started clearing it a few weeks ago and the main picture shows part of it today, all ready to be returned to a wildlife garden instead of a rubbish tip.  Unfortunately the man with the little Kubota digger - which I was going to have a go at driving - has had to postpone because of C19 but I'm in no hurry to throw more money around!  MrsDB would tell you that I never am.  The extra shots show L-R the land when the farmer used it as a tip.   The next pic shows the same plot after the sheds were removed and a 10 feet ivy tree hedge was pulled out.  I guess I'm not going to be bored this summer!
