Face to the Sun

A sunny, windy day with the last of the pear blossoms showering down. I planted quite a few flower seeds indoors, mostly annuals, and some veggies that do well as transplants. 

W's parents, Harry and Ellie, live in Tennessee next door to his sister and family, including their lovely dog Ben, a Golden Doodle. Tonight over FaceTime, Harry relayed that Ellie had trimmed his hair today...using Ben's clippers. :)) We had to laugh. He did look a little shorn in front. We weren't allowed to see the back.

The extra is a redbud tree that we grew from a little stick one of the kids got on Arbor Day over a decade ago.
