Today the nation’s heroic care staff, and all those continuing to work to provide us with our daily essentials, are getting a round of applause from us.
To go and sit at a checkout whilst hundreds of shoppers pass you every day takes a lot of courage and determination. And as for going into hospital to treat profoundly ill virus sufferers putting your own life at risk, what can that be like?
