Michelin *
After a jaunt by car (to Glasgow Airport), plane (FlyBe) and bus (from Belfast City) I was in downtown Belfast at lunchtime.
Breakfast (2 boiled eggs) was at 7am, so I was ravenous. I went into almost the first restaurant I found.
I had a great wee lunch. Marinated sardines on toast, rocket and Parmesan salad, plus French fries. Pinot grigio. Vanilla ice cream with honeycomb. Cappuccino.
I looked it up on the Internet afterwards and discovered it has a Michelin star.
Wow! Talk about getting lucky.
