A change from boats!

Another dry day with sunshine, so after lunch we took our usual walk down to the harbour. There was still a chilly wind, but it was good to sit in the sun and watch the world go by, such of it that was going by! I envied the passengers setting off for, or probably going home to Barra, as the old 'Isle of Lewis' plodded out of the bay. Oh go on, I'll put her on as an extra!

Walked up Jacob's Ladder on the way home and photographed a few plants growing in the wall, particularly the fern Maidenhair Spleenwort - and a dandelion! Near home we stopped to distance-talk to our neighbour Margaret, relaxing in the sun after working in her lovely garden, so I'll pop her on too!

The sun was still shining when we got home, so I had a cuppa out on the deck in the company of Mrs M and Jane Austen again!

Quote of the Day:

A.A. Milne, ‘Winnie the Pooh’ - “What day is it?”, asked Winnie the Pooh. “It’s today,” squeaked Piglet. “My favourite day,” said Pooh.”
