Dog gone it.....

Maigold and Clifton (Standing) survey the day. It was morning and looked wet. It was.....but in typical Wellington fashion after lunch the sun came out and The Boss and Bossess joined the folk outside and distancing and walked to the end of Oriental Parade. 
As The  Boss was focusing on Maigold we realised that there was something I hadn’t mentioned about iPhone focusing.

You remember the bit about tapping the screen to set exposure and focus...Well if you tap and hold for a second the focus point will lock.....See Xtra. ( Pic of The Boss’s iPad screen) So what is this good for....Well The Boss uses this when he is set up waiting from someone to stagger into a scene. If you tap and hold to lock a focus point  on something the right distance away, when the person appears you can get the shot immediately. The iPhone is already focussed. 
We had a lovely chat to our neighbours this afternoon. We stood on our deck and they stood on theirs (about 10 mx apart). Great! 

Oh and did you know that there are 4 ways to click the shutter on an iPhone???  And one is EXTREMELY cool....
