Brother With Hat, Aylesford

The Boss finally got in touch yesterday afternoon for a "discussion". I am now on standby to go in if needed but he doesn't  think I will be next week which is a massive relief. He did, however, have time to have his usual dig about something - this time about the apparent state of my studio. When he does this it always leaves me feeling small and deflated.
Today was just a shortish walk to the local Costcutter (decided not to go to the supermarkets at the weekend) to get some essentials which, of course, included wine!
We're trying to make all our food last longer and use up everything before buying some more. Tonight's meal is a beef mince and pea pie with mini-roasted potatoes and lashings of gravy. Pudding is my brother's apple crumble with honeycomb ice cream. I can't wait.
