Mirrored Self, Aylesford

A longer run this morning with my brother out into the Valley In Between. The air today was very crisp and the countryside was so quiet, all we could hear was birdsong and the occasional far away car whoosh along the nearby road that runs through to Eccles. All in all it was probably around the three mile mark, so a bit longer than the last few we have done.
Having done food shopping yesterday that was the trip out done for the day so I had to get my mind back on to today's shot. We've had a couple of old mirrors leaning against a bookcase in the living room for quite a while so I decided to utilise them for an image. I haven't cropped my beard for nearly two weeks now so it feels massive but I'm going to go a few days yet before taming the beast! My hair is also much longer than usual - I might have a full mullet in a few weeks as I, of course, can't get it cut. I might have to resort to drastic measures!
On other news, I'm still no nearer knowing whether I will have to go into work in Central London next week - no one has contacted me in over two days. I'm furious that the onus is being put on us to say yes or no about going in. My work is definitely not essential - photographing artworks - and I really feel they shouldn't be risking staff in a known area for a big outbreak of cases. So much management in this time of crisis has been so poor, with the risk that many staff in many companies have been put in the way of danger needlessly, either by spreading the virus or catching it themselves.
