Across the water

Breezy and cold walk down to the canal this morning.
No1 son brought provisions (including chocolate!)
Had a cup of tea and devoured the first paper for a week.
No gardening as biting wind. Spoke to friends by phone and ordered some wool on line so I can continue knitting red hats for new born babies at the hospital. They will not wait to come into the present complicated world.
