Hanging in
Up early (for me at least) to be ready for a tradesman.
Once he was settled I headed off for my first main shop for over a week. Long queue to get in, with everyone keeping 2m + apart. And numbers in the store kept to a defined limit. One out, one in.
Meant lots of space in the aisles - which apart from a few items were well stocked. Everyone respecting everyone else, just as when I’ve been out walking the dog.
I photographed these catkins against the morning sky last week. With the lighter mornings they are much more clear, even in the smirr of rain.
They are hanging in there, just like us all.
