Heavens Above

Clouds for the most part gave way to a brief spell of sunshine late in the day. Temperatures reaching 59°F the warmest so far this year.

As the sun set, the orange glow deepened with dark clouds over most of the sky. As the sun broke through, shafts of light lit up the tree tops in an impressive display (extra).

The main image is a two shot blend to contain the exposure, which I did in Photoshop with a luminosity mask. I was quite pleased how it turned out as I don't do many of those.
