River of Flowers

Friday: Favourite Tree

Weather glorious, sunshine, blue sky and a chilly breeze from the north.
Went for a walk down our lane, didn’t see anyone. It’s so quiet and peaceful ...
Started off a few more seeds: Seakale “Lilywhite”, Rudbeckia lacinata, Sunflower “Helios Flame”, Cosmea “Sensation mixed”, Malabar Spinach (Basella alba “Green Malabar”), courgette “Striato d’Italia” and some mixed wild flowers from the Cottage Garden Society seed swap  - http://thecottagegardensociety.org.uk/Membership/membership
Some of the seeds are in the greenhouse and the tender ones indoors on the back bedroom window sill.
Transplanted some purple alyssum and some red cabbage seedlings.
Did a quick bit of weeding around the wild garlic patch and scattered a boxful of wildflower seeds I’ve had for a couple of years - used a novel piece of equipment to prevent neighbourhood cats from using the cleared soil as a toilet  ... this might be tomorrow’s Blip!
Lockdown has been increased, police are checking that tourists aren’t coming over to North Wales, Coronavirus is spreading  - our internet connection is getting very unpredictable ...
Wishing everyone a Happy, Peaceful & Relaxing weekend.
Stay healthy and happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
