Thursday: Wild Cabbage ...

... which looks a lot like purple sprouting broccoli, which I’ve failed to grow for past few years, 8 years ago https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/1885886 it was everywhere. Cut the top shoots off and had them boiled with courgette, mashed potatoes and fried salmon.
2 sorts of chicory and Red Orach seeds sown last Sunday have germinated, weather is set to get very cold so they’ll stay upstairs. 
Cold northerly wind today, I was out moving more pots around, emptying compost from pots of dead plants and washing dried outdoors.
Cold wind gave me sinusitis but it soon eased when I made pancakes for lunch, spread with Nutella and watching episode of the Silk Road.
My journal is getting very repetitive, sorry, must “Up my game” as The Sailor used to say to me ...
